We can't do this alone, but we can do all things with God. We must stay in prayer, keeping God on our minds always. God is always available to help 
and guide us. We just need to desire to do His will. We just need to desire to be holy like He is. We just need to trust Him.
Do you feel like you could be doing better? I do. We can't beat ourselves up over our mistakes, that's exactly what Satan wants.
We need to focus on the present moment. In the present moment, we need to calmly consider what led us to make our error. Then, we need to make the necessary changes that will prevent us from making the same mistake again.
No matter how uncomfortable the changes are, no matter how weird or wrong other people may think or say we are for making them, we must make these changes. If a change will separate us from sin and bring us closer to God, we must make it. The world, the people around us, and even family may try to discourage us from making the decisions that will bring us closer to God and away from sin. We must pray for the wisdom and strength to avoid manipulation.
We must listen to what God says, not what social media says, not what society says, not what the culture says. We must listen to God, read His Word, and believe it, because it is the truth. We must patiently learn the entire Word, read it daily, and apply it to our lives, no matter what anyone thinks.
We can not please God if we are caring and worrying about what other people are going to think of us. When we truly follow God, people will call us strange, some will even call us evil. People are going to think what they're going to think. 10 people are going to think 10 different things about us. We simply need to care about pleasing God.
We must read the Bible patiently. We must not read just to read, but read with an intention to learn wisdom. Beforehand, we must pray that God directs us where to read, that He opens our understandings to what we read, and that He gives us the strength to read with focus and patience.
We must create isolation. We must find a private area, and focus our minds on God. We must make it our goal to learn wisdom from God and do His will.
God is unstoppable. When we truly give our entire lives to Him, when we truly submit to Him, we will be unstoppable too. We just need to focus on God day and night, seek Him, desire to please Him, and trust Him.
Any fear, hesitation, or lack of desire to do these things is an effort from the enemy. The last things that Satan wants for us to do is turn off the television, look away from social media, create isolation, open the Bible, and earnestly seek God and holiness. We must seek God and holiness every day, as often as possible, and God will give us peace.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7)
