MP For Jomoro Donates Desk To Both Private And Government Schools
Dorcas Affo-Toffey is a Ghanaian entrepreneur, philanthropist and politician. She is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). She is the member of parliament for the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region.
Member of Parliament for the area Dorcas Affo-Toffey organized Operation “2000” Student Desk for Schools (Both private and government) in Jomoro Constituency-Western Region -Nzema.
Dorcas Affo-Toffey has donated over 1,500 school desks as the member of parliament for the good people of Jomoro, she has significantly reduced the extent of Pupils sitting on bare-floor. 2 or 3 students having to share a single desk in our schools.
Parents are burdened to buy tables and chairs before their wards can attend class.
Over crowded classrooms Etc.
This has had a tremendous impact on the comfort and focus of our students during their lessons.
Teachers have noticed a remarkable improvement in student engagement and participation since the implementation of this initiative and each student now having their own desk. They are able to fully concentrate on their studies and interact more effectively with their peers.
I am immensely proud of the positive impact we have made so far and would like to express my deepest appreciation to the municipal education service, chiefs, teachers, headmasters, parents, NDC executives, sympathizers, and the amazing people of Jomoro for their unwavering support in making this project a success. Without their collaboration, we would not have been able to achieve such remarkable results.
Your support has made a lasting difference in the lives of our students and has enhanced the overall quality of education in our constituency.
Thank you all for your unwavering commitment and for being a part of this incredible journey. Together, we are transforming the future of education in our constituency.
Together We Can achieve anything for the people of Jomoro.
