Nigerian musician Portable has sparke8d controversy by suggesting that the late Afrobeats legend and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was responsible for his own untimely death.

During a recent interview on the "Echoo Room" podcast with Quincy Jonze, Portable made provocative comments, implying that Fela's early passing was a consequence of his failure to focus on his personal affairs.
The interview has since gone viral on social media, generating significant attention and debate.
Born Habeeb Okikiola Badmu, Portable is a well-known Nigerian songwriter and rapper.
He gained mainstream attention after the single "ZaZoo Zehh", where he featured Olamide and Poco Lee.
He publicly accused a business partner on social media of allegedly scamming him in a deal involving artist management.
Portable has five children from different women, including a son with Nollywood actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde.
