Prosper Narteh Ogum, the coach of Asante Kotoko, has asked the team's supporters to be behind them as they strive to have a significant effect on the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Three games in the domestic top division have yielded one victory and two stalemates for the record league holders.

The Porcupine Warriors lost their one-goal advantage against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City over the weekend.

Michael Kyei, a midfielder for Kotoko, opened the score barely three minutes into the match. The squad nearly stole a crucial away win in Berekum, but Fuseini Zakaria's late goal kept the Porcupine Warriors from taking three points.

Following the game, Ogum urged the supporters to continue cheering for the squad, assuring them that victories would meet their wants.

In three games, we've won one and drawn two. Thus, it's a work in progress. We will definitely give them what they want going forward because the boys are doing well, therefore I will encourage the supporters to keep cheering on the squad," he stated.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the Porcupine Warriors will play Nsoatreman FC in their Premier League match. The match will take place at the Obuasi Len Clay.

After three games, Kotoko has five points, placing them sixth in the Ghana Premier League standings. Gaining an advantage over Nsoatreman FC will move them up the standings.

Thomas Partey excels as Arsenal defeats PSG.

In the UEFA Champions League, Arsenal defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 at the Emirates thanks in large part to a brilliant effort by Thomas Partey.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who played for 65 minutes before coming off the pitch, showed off his exceptional tactical awareness and control by controlling the game's pace.

In his time on the field, Partey completed 27 of 29 passes with an astounding 93% accuracy rate. His aptitude for reading the game and making pivotal decisions with the ball secured Arsenal's supremacy in the midfield.

"Partey has an amazing grasp of his role. He is quite aware of when and to whom to pass as well as where to apply pressure. "His vision is unparalleled," a source from Arsenal stated.

Merino took Partey's place in the 65th minute, but Partey's impact continued the entire game as Arsenal won their first game in the competition following a goalless draw with Atalanta in their opening encounter.

Arsenal's victory puts them on four points and puts them in a solid position going forward in the Champions League.
