To defeat Nsoatreman FC, Asante Kotoko's coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has pushed his team to be more decisive in front of the goal.
Later today at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors will play Yaw Preko's team in a rescheduled game that begins at 15:00 GMT.
The postponement of this meeting, which was scheduled for match week 2, was caused by Nsoatreman's involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Narteh Ogum stressed the value of scoring early to enable his side to define their playing style before the game. He thinks that making the most of the possibilities to score goals will result in success.
"To establish a rhythm, get into our flow, and play within the rules of the game, we must make every effort to bury the opportunities that present themselves early in the game," he stated.
"We'll have some continuity and rhythm in the game if we can convert the opportunities early," he continued.

Former Black Stars forward Prince Tagoe has been named a scouting ambassador by Bauer Agency & Management, a German consulting firm.
Using his wealth of football knowledge, Tagoe will represent the agency in Asia, Germany, and Africa in his new position.
After retiring, Tagoe, who had played for clubs like Accra Hearts of Oak, Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, and TSG Hoffenheim in Germany, went into scouting.
His familiarity with the game will likely be invaluable in spotting and developing talent in these areas.
Before quitting international football in 2015, the former Ghana international played 36 caps for the Black Stars and scored seven goals.
