Thelma Baffour, a Ghanaian international, has won the CAF Women's Champions League, making her the second Ghanaian to do so. On Saturday, November 23, 2024, her team, TP Mazembe, won the coveted title by defeating AS FAR of Morocco 1-0 in the final.
Thelma played for Berry Ladies Football Club before joining the Congolese team. She then transferred to Jonina Ladies, where she won numerous accolades before travelling outside the country.
Also note that Blessing Shine Agbomadzi was the first Ghanaian to win the CAF Women's Champions League. She won with AS FAR of Morocco in the second edition of the championship.
In other news the Golden eagles pathfinder club made something good out of their rally at UPSA. The fast rising club has made massive improvements after they recently took everything of theirs very serious.
