Luis Figo asserts that Cristiano Ronaldo will perform "without a doubt" for Portugal in a group comprising Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The outstanding player from Manchester United will once again spearhead Portugal's attempt to win the world championship alongside teammate Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva of Manchester City, Rafael Leao of AC Milan, Goncalo Guedes of Wolves, and Diogo Jota of Liverpool up front.

Figo believes Portugal has one of the best teams going into the world cup, and he has faith in Ronaldo to deliver for the Selecao.

Portugal is one of the best teams in the world, 2000 Ballon d'Or winner Figo asserted, quoting O Jogo. But it makes obvious that winning a European or world championship depends on more than just individual or team quality. "However, I fully believe that Portugal can prove all of its potential, make it to the final, and win the world championship." Figo is also certain that Ronaldo will improve Portugal's World Cup results in Qatar. Due to his benching and inability to leave Manchester United, the 37-year-old has had a challenging start to the domestic season.

Nobody challenges Cristiano Ronaldo's ability, integrity, or performance, Figo added. I'm sure he'll perform at the World Cup under ideal conditions, but I'm not sure what those conditions will be, the speaker remarked. But without a doubt, due to his superiority and his outstanding professionalism.

In terms of what he can provide to the national team, I am confident Portugal can remain composed.
