Bernard Lippert, the Ghana Football Association's [GFA] technical director, thinks the Black Stars have a decent chance of making it out of the 2022 World Cup group stage.

After earning a seat in the tournament, Ghana was placed in Group H with Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal.

Lippert believes the Black Stars may advance to the competition despite the playing group's quality being questioned following the friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua in September.

"I believe we will succeed in getting through the group stage. Everything becomes conceivable after that, he informed the journalists.

"I genuinely think we can make it to the quarterfinals. For me, it's feasible "Added he.

At Stadium 974 in Doha, Ghana's campaign will get underway against Portugal on November 24.

The Black Stars are back in action four days later when they play South Korea at Al Rayyan's Education City Stadium.

At Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah, Ghana will conclude their exciting group stage journey with their much awaited matchup with Uruguay.

The Black Stars will be seeking to improve on their performance in Qatar after exiting the group stage during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The Black Stars lost out on the most recent tournament, which was held in Russia in 2018.
