Ghana Black Stars eliminated from the 2022 Qatar World Cup after they suffered a defeat from Uruguay. Speaking with the media after the match, La Liga club Athletic Bilbao forward Iñaki Williams Arthuer admitted that Ghana’s group is not an easy one.
“The players put their all into the games. Luck was not on their side as even in the last game against Uruguay, Ghana did everything, but one mistake changed the whole game” – Inaki Williams stated
Inaki Williams tried as much as possible to get a goal for the Black Stars of Ghana. He was not able to get the goal he was desiring for. It cannot be underestimated that, the great impact from Inaki Williams helped Black Stars to secure their 3 points against South Korea and also assisted Muhammed Kudus to score his second goal during the Ghana and South Korea match.
Uruguay also eliminated from the tournament. This was because South Korea score Portugal in their last game at the group stages.
