Manchester United are ready to enter a bid for Jude Bellingham, the transfer fee of the English midfielder is said to be at least 125 million euros.

The fee would be a record for an English player, surpassing the £100m (£115m) Manchester City paid Jack Grealish. It would also top the biggest transfer paid by an English club, the €120m Chelsea committed to sign midfielder Enzo Fernandez in January.

Man City are also competing for Bellingham (19) along with Liverpool and Real Madrid. Chelsea have not ruled out making a bid but agree not to be among the favorites.

Borussia Dortmund insist they want to keep Bellingham, for at least one more season, and are unsure if he will leave at the end of this season. However, discussions are intensifying about his future and a decision must be made in the coming weeks on his preferred destination.

"Everything is open," one source said. Jurgen Klopp has previously hailed Bellingham as 'absolutely special', who is seen by Liverpool as Steven Gerrard's natural heir. Telegraph Media Group Limited [2023]

Xavier Simons, on loan at Chelsea, will join Hull City permanently this summer

Xavier Simons, on loan from Chelsea, will join Hull City permanently this summer.

According to London World (h/t Football.London), Chelsea midfielder Xavier Simons, who is on loan at Hull City, will join the Tigers permanently at the end of the season.

Simons joined the Championship team on a season-long loan in August. He had to wait until February for his first Championship game, following Jean Michel Seri's injury. However, Hull was confident he would do well so signed him permanently. At the time of his departure on loan, there were several clubs interested in his service. Norwich City, Southampton, Watford and Brighton are monitoring the 20-year-old midfielder.

Simons is a versatile player, primarily active as a defensive midfielder, but can play as a number eight and at right-back if needed.

He hasn't had many chances this season but reading about the trust Hull has in him shows they see him as an important player in the years to come. Beware, it is still 20 years old and will only improve with proper care. It seems Chelsea have a tendency to produce the best young players and loan them out, before selling most of them for a profit. Simons is one of those players. He will come well in the future for Hull.

If we talk about departures, then the senior squad is currently very bloated and needs to be cut down this summer. Reports suggest that the Blues could offload up to 11 players to give Graham Potter a controllable number of players.

It is regrettable that one of ours, Mason Mount, is about to leave the club simply because of a valuation gap in his contract extension. Let's hope this gets resolved because he's an important player for the club.
