A well-organized Hapoel Be'er Sheva team, which has won its past three games in the Israeli premier division, was too strong for Hapoel Katamon to overcome. Eugene Ansah's goal just before halftime cost Hapoel Katamon the game.
After collecting a feed from Roy Gordana, Ansah scored a goal.
The lads of Katamon coach Ziv Aries controlled the middle of the field for several minutes, stopped the second-ranked squad, and had multiple chances but squandered them. In an effort to set a target, coach Aries made a few adjustments.
At the intermission, he inserted Roy Revivo, Noaf Bazea, and Cedric. Yoav Tomer also came in the 65th minute.
In the 68th minute, Eugene Ansah was replaced by coach Elyaniv Bardain.
