Digital innovation, according to Nana Essilfuah Tamakloe, director of marketing and corporate relations at Absa Bank in Ghana, is a significant choice for women who want to have equal possibilities in their endeavors.
I am glad to report that Absa is leading the way in this area. "Digital innovation is a critical driver for granting women more access to equal opportunities and achievement," she continued.
When St. Mary's Senior High School students from Accra met with the bank's female leadership to explore how digital technology may advance their academic and professional prospects, she stated this.
The bank coordinated the special event with the school's administration as part of celebrations for International Women's Day (IWD), which was observed on March 8th. "DigitALL - Innovation and Technology for Equality" is the subject of the conference.
The students also had the option to spend nearly four hours "job shadowing" the bank's technology and enablement team.
They were shown how the technology team supports the entire operation and effectiveness of the bank through business processes, decision-making, and technology.
She said that as part of its civic program, Absa Bank placed a high priority on female leadership and inclusivity.
To enable women to make educated decisions and better their lives via responsible personal financial management, she continued, "this involves offering consumer education and financial literacy programs through approved training partners.
She expressed happiness that the bank might provide the pupils an opportunity to learn about how to generate money. such collaborations "give us optimism for the future in terms of women's leadership," she continued, "in an organization like Absa."
Audrey Abakah, president of the Absa Bank Women Network Forum, stated that "as women, we have distinct viewpoints and ideas that are simply waiting to be heard. And it's up to us to speak up and be heard by using the strength of our voices.
This is only one of many instances of how we as individuals can foster creativity in our companies and communities.
