And when they ask the King for an explanation, he will respond, "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of them, you did it to me." The House of Miracle Ministries is focused on that and is urging its members to contribute their gifts as alms for the upcoming week.
In the opinion of the church's general overseer, Prophet Sampson Amoateng, the action is in accordance with the Bible and a display of love for both mankind and the church.
On Sunday, March 26, 2023, he gave food blessings to more than 500 members and several PWDs in Madina, including bags of rice, cooking oil, yams, and a little money.
The Bible informs us that giving is a symbol of love when it says, "Because God so loved the world that He gave." So, Prophet Amoateng said, "We need to give—not because we have, but because we love and care for mankind."
He said, "Christ won't know you by name when you die today." Your affection for other people will be how he recognizes you. In the same manner, you won't be recognized by your bishoply or honorary title. The difference you made in their lives will be reflected in how they recognize you. Understanding this, I desire for them to emulate Christ in their lives. I also wish to awaken the people's desire to receive power since they have a right to benefit from their contributions of time, money, and effort to the church.
"No offering this week. Bless someone with the offering you'll be bringing to the neighborhood or the street. Because the individuals we encounter on the streets are also persons like us, those who may bring an offering will be combined with others to bless them. These physically challenged individuals are part of us as well. Hence, we cannot judge. We have to give them a sense of belonging. "I've decided to do this because of that, and I'll keep doing it for the rest of my life," he insisted.
The church's leadership has also been urged to do this by Prophet Sampson Amoateng in order to modify society's perceptions of the church as perceived by the church.
He said, "If someone is with you, you have to respect them." If someone is behind you, you have to defend them. And if someone dislikes you, love them. Respect, safety, and love are the three guiding values that we must uphold since the people depend on us in their hour of need. If we can do these things, we will be able to alter the public's impression of the church and pastors as being in it just for the purpose of robbing the populace.
Message during a crisis
In the midst of raging economic troubles, Prophet Sampson Amoateng has exhorted people to maintain their will, hold onto their optimism, and make the next successful step.
"Life is hard, and the economy is tough." Yet I want you to realize that neither success nor failure are irreversible. You are part of God's plan. Just exercise bravery and move forward with trust. Be and act like you. Never quit because no night is too black for the sun to rise. Above all, remember that you are too important to waste.
Hundreds of worshippers and socially vulnerable persons will be affected by The House of Miracle Ministries' Gift Sunday throughout the coming weeks.
