The management of Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) has been instructed to increase the use of creativity and digitalization in order to keep up with market trends and changes in the paradigm for obtaining news. This advice comes from the Minister of Public Enterprises, Joseph Cudjoe.
He said that because of technological advancements like smartphones and laptops, individuals could now access information and that capitalizing on technology would make it easier to reach a wider range of customers and earn more money.
"Demand for news has not decreased; on the contrary, it is increasing."
Everyone enjoys reading and wants to know what comes next.
The way to access it has changed; it can now be found in the palm of one's hand via digital gadgets like mobile phones.
How do we make the physical items we have fit into the new demand trend?
The minister added, "The limits are real, and I'm glad you're aware of them; it's the substance that draws readers, and this drives the money.
When he went to GCGL's offices yesterday to strengthen his relationship with the business, he delivered the advice.
He was joined by several others, including Christina Edmund, the Chief Director of the Ministry; Richmond Bosompem Ababio, the Executive Assistant Director; Priscilla Naa Deedei Quaye; and Samuel Aning, the Policy Advisor.
The Managing Director of GCGL, Ato Afful; the Director of Marketing, Franklin Sowa; the Editor of Graphics, Theophilus Yartey; and the Director of Finance, Samuel, met the minister.
and Dela Bonsu, the temporary head of human resources.
business perspective
Further urging the corporation to pursue debtors who owed it substantial sums of money without fear or favor, Mr. Cudjoe added that a more business-oriented culture should now prevail.
If my chief director owes you money, go after it.
For operations, you need money.
Now, adopt a business-oriented attitude.
You will become a liability if you don't succeed.
Simply carry out your obligations, earn money, and use it to cover expenses such as manufacturing costs and payroll, among other things.
