Hon. Mark Okraku Mantey, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Arts, and Culture, has encouraged ECKANKAR Ghana's leadership to make the most of the Spiritual ECK African Soul Adventure Seminar 2023 to increase tourism potential. The presentation during the seminar is intended to promote Ghana's most stunning tourism attractions.
The Minister added that he urged ECKANKAR Ghana and other ECKists to make the most of the August Seminar's chance to court investors and investigate fresh business ventures.
We encourage ECKANKAR Ghana to inform them of the opportunities that exist in Ghana for them to come and conduct business with us. "During the seminar, some will come to Ghana as religious tourists and end up coming back as businessmen," he said. On Tuesday at the Temple of ECK in Accra, Hon. Mark Okraku Mantey gave a speech at the formal opening of the ECK African Soul Adventure Seminar 2023.
Making tourism a significant contributor to Ghana's GDP is part of President Akufo-Addo's goal, the minister claims.
For the second time since 2012, Ghana will serve as the host country for the ECK AFRICAN SOUL ADVENTURE SEMINAR, which will take place from August 25 to 27.
The Temple of ECK Ghana in Okponglo, East Legon, which is next to the Erata Hotel, is where the event is held.
"Tell your guests and participants about Ghana's beautiful beaches, forests, restaurants and hospitality services, castles, and forts to promote our tourism sector," he advised ECKANKAR Ghana.
In light of this, Hon. Mark Okraku Mantey reaffirmed that the Ministry of Tourism, under the direction of Hon. Mohammed Ibrahim Awal, is still committed to supporting ECKANKAR Ghana in advance of the three-day event from August 25 to August 27, 2023.
Because ECKANKAR Ghana is a religious organization that supports diversity, we declare our full support for the seminar. "Over the years, religious tolerance, where Muslims respect Christians and Christians respect Muslims, has been a key driver of Ghana's continuous existence of peace and harmony, making us the second most peaceful country in Africa," the Minister said.
Speaking to the group, Mr. Benjamin Anane Nsiah, the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), revealed that the Honourable Mohammed Ibrahim Awal had displayed a key interest in the ECK AFRICAN SOUL ADVENTURE SEMINAR, and he has instructed his staff to see to it that the conference is effectively planned.
Mr. Aspect Caiquo, President of ECKANKAR Ghana, spent some time to describe the goal of the 2023 ECK African Soul Adventure as well as some of the primary events scheduled for the seminar.
The three-day seminar, with the topic "Your Life Is A Spiritual Adventure," aims to strengthen people spiritually through emphasizing experiences, workshops, spiritual discussions, and other activities that promote spiritual development. Once more, the seminar is free and open to the public and will include several sessions for novices, new members, and fellow ECKANKAR members, he added.
He stated that the lecture will include dreams since Eckankar adherents view dreams as crucial teaching aids.
