THE WORD YOUR VICTORY
DAILY DEVOTION TO GROWTH
When you're going through something difficult, whether it be illness, a broken heart, or grief, finding the motivation to begin your healing process can seem like too much. But sometimes, reading a particular passage can provide a sense of relief and even give you strength on your journey toward healing.
EXODUS 15:26 26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
After saving His people from slavery in Egypt, God first showed Himself to the Israelites as "the Lord Who Heals."
He not only identified Himself as a healer, but He also gave Himself that title. God is known by many names, including "The One Who Heals" or simply "Healer."
Of course, God is a physical healer. However, we shouldn't confine our thoughts to this. Everything that God touches is healed, or made entirely and sound.
We should put our attention on the concept of making whole and sound.
God is a whole-making being by nature. A healer HE IS. A restorer of wholeness and soundness for bodies, minds, relationships, and countries.
It's crucial to understand that God is a healer by nature, therefore we don't need to persuade Him to do it.
It is understandable why when Jesus of Nazareth—God in the flesh—arrived:
MATTHEW 4:23 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
SAY THIS WITH FAITH: I worship a God of healing. My God can heal people. My God can heal me. In Him, the world has her victory.
May God bless and give you speed in all you do ?
