Ghanaian powerhouses Hearts of Oak will travel to Tamale to take on Real Tamale United (RTU) as their 202324 Ghana Premier League campaign gets underway.
The Phobians had a difficult time competing last season and will now try to capture the league championship in 2019.
On Matchday 8, according to the schedule made public by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday, July 31, Hearts of Oak will face off against the reigning champions Medeama SC.
In the meantime, Week 14 will see the first Super Clash of the season between fervent rivals Asante Kotoko.

On the weekend of Friday, September 15, to Monday, September 18, at the respective match venues across the nation, the opening round of the new league season will get under way.
The league will have a month off after the first round on December 29 to prepare for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Cte d'Ivoire from 13 January to 11 February 2024.
From February 23 through February 26 in 2024, the second round of the season will get underway at the relevant match locations.
On June 16, after the Round 34 games are cleared, the league, which is anticipated to be very competitive and entertaining, will come to a close.
