Rodney Appiah reveals that his father, Stephen Appiah, is his everything.
Rodney Appiah, son of Ghanaian football legend Stephen Appiah, has revealed that his father is everything to him.
According to the Great Olympics player, the former Ghana captain is his coach, manager, mentor, and teaches him everything he needs to know on the field.
Rodney, on the other hand, reveals that his father has accomplished so much that he cannot emulate him and must instead chart his own career path.
"I can't do what he did because he's a wonderful man." He has done so much for the country; all I can hope for is to do my best and show what I have," Rodney Appiah told 3 Sports.
"Obviously, everything I have comes from my father." He is my coach, mentor, manager, and everything else. "He teaches me how to move on the field and be disciplined," the player said.
Rodney has returned to play for Great Olympics after a lengthy injury layoff.
