KING PROMISE SETS RECORDS STRAIGHT ON VIRAL ‘MARRIAGE’ VIDEO

Ghanaian artiste King Promise has clarified that his alleged music video which featured key players in the entertainment space all dressed in Kente, was a proper wedding ceremony.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz with Doreen Avio, he explained that he invested so much into the alleged video production because it was an actual marriage ceremony.

“It was a true African ceremony. Do you think we will waste money like that?" he quizzed.

He further explained that the ceremony was private and only a few family members and loved ones were invited. However, he hinted there may be a bigger wedding soon.

“You may never know if there is another wedding coming. Because this was just a little bit of the whole show."

This comes after the online wedding videos featuring celebrities like Sarkodie, Dancegod Lloyd, and Joey B fueled rumours that it was an actual wedding or a music video shoot. 

King Promise has assured his well-wishers that in due time he would properly announce his intentions of getting married however all are to note that he likes to keep life activities private.

“Everything will unveil itself very soon. Rest assured I'll unveil it but my private stuff remains private," he noted.

Yesterday, a video that went viral showed hip-hop singer King Promise of Ghana getting married.

King Promise, dressed in a traditional Kente robe, could be seen entering his bride’s presence with dignity in multiple videos.

Attendees at the exclusive event included Sarkodie, Dancegodlloyd, Efia Odo, and numerous other celebrities.

Despite the fact that the bridesmaids were included in multiple films, the bride was not visible, leading some to question whether he was actually getting married.

Some even came to the conclusion that his new music video was replicated in the entire scenario. Herein is the twist that could provide further insight on the story of the marriage.

A creative director named Soafrican revealed that he was a member of the creative team working on King Promise’s project in a series of social media posts earlier today.

It’s interesting to note that King Promise disclosed that he is not actively looking for a romantic relationship at this time and is now single in a February interview with British YouTuber Madame Joyce.

“No, I’m just going about my life; if you find me, you’ll find me. Nope, I’m just relaxing. I’m not avoiding it, nor am I looking for it.

He is reported to have stated at the time, “It is really whatever happens.”

According to the aforementioned, fans hoping to see one of Ghana’s favorite performers get married may have to wait a little while longer
