Arsenal are running out of time to get reinforcements through the door before this week's transfer deadline.

The Gunners have completed permanent deals for David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori and are also believed to be close to signing Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad, but Mikel Arteta wants more options in attack.

Arsenal's desire to bolster their forward options has only been heightened by an injury to Gabriel Jesus, meaning they have just days to wrap up any other business before the summer window shuts.

Ahead of Friday's deadline, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest transfer news from in and around The Emirates...

Gunners to green light the Nketiah deal

Arsenal have received a proposal worth £30 million, including add-ons from Crystal Palace for Eddie Nketiah, and the Gunners are likely to accept the bid.

That's according to a new report from The Athletic, who reveal that Palace have firmed up their interest in Nketiah, who looked set to join Nottingham Forest last week before talks collapsed.

The deal on the table is similar in structure to the one Forest negotiated with an initial £25m fee and a further £5m in add-ons. And it's believed that Nketiah is open to the idea of joining Arsenal's London rivals in order to get more first-team football.

Toney set to move elsewhere.

Former Arsenal target Ivan Toney is closing in on a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.

The Brentford striker, 28, was heavily linked with the Gunners back in January before reports earlier this summer outlined that Mikel Arteta and co had moved on to other targets.

Toney had been expected to leave Brentford this summer after entering the final year of his contract, and with no Premier League suitors forthcoming, now looks to be heading overseas.

Osimhen's agent rubbishes the transfer claim

The agent of Victor Osimhen has hit back at claims that his client is set to complete a move to Al-Ahli.

The Napoli striker has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea this summer but has also fielded interest from Saudi Arabia. It had seemed a deal was close, but Roberto Calenda has seemingly disputed those claims.

In a statement on X, he said: "Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction. He made history, and when there were major offers (also this year), we always accepted the club's decisions.

"As I said, it is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets. Victor was elected African footballer of the year, eighth at the Ballon d'Or; he still has so much to do in Europe. There is a need respect and balance."
