Prosper Narteh Ogum, the tactician for Asante Kotoko, evaluated his team's performance after three games of the Ghana Premier League.
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Obuasi Len Clay, the Porcupine Warriors will settle their unresolved Premier League matchup with Nsoatreman FC.
In three games in the top division, the record league holders have mustered just one victory and two draws.
The Porcupine Warriors lost the game at the Golden City, sharing the points with Berekum Chelsea despite having a one-goal advantage.
Michael Kyei, a midfielder for Kotoko, opened the score barely three minutes into the match. The squad nearly stole a crucial away win in Berekum, but Fuseini Zakaria's late goal kept the Porcupine Warriors from taking three points.
Ogum urged the supporters to continue cheering on the team after the game, saying his outfit is still a work in progress.
"In three games, we've won one and drew two. Thus, it's a work in progress. We will definitely give them what they want going forward because the boys are doing well, therefore I will encourage the supporters to keep cheering on the squad," he stated.
After three games, Kotoko has five points, placing them sixth in the Ghana Premier League standings. Gaining an advantage over Nsoatreman FC will move them up the standings.

After a close victory over Vision FC, Samartex tactician Nurudeen Amadu acknowledges his lack of attacking ability.
Nurudeen Amadu, the tactician for Samartex, is worried about his team's poor conversion rate following a narrow victory over Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League.
The reigning champion Timber Giants overcame newly promoted Vision FC 2-1 at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday to earn their first victory of the Ghana Premier League season.
After the game, Amadu—who led the team to their first Premier League victory—spoke about his difficulties leading the assault in the Ghanaian Premier League.
"We're still having trouble attacking for several reasons, including the fact that we don't have the finishing like we did last season. Despite this, we must keep up this persistent effort until our conversion rate increases." He stated.
Right-back Isaac Afful gave the Timber Giants the lead shortly before the interval, capping an impressive first half.
But Vision rallied in the second half, with attacker Gideon Ofori Offei tying the score in the 71st minute.
Despite Vision's tenacity, Michael Ephson, a striker, gave Samartex a thrilling victory deep into stoppage time, earning the home team their first win of the year.
Samartex will play one of their two remaining games against Bibiani Goldstars FC on Wednesday at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
