Sudan vs. Ghana in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Matchday 4 qualification will be officiated by Mehrez Melki Elki of Tunisia.

On Monday, October 14, 2024, at 13:00 GMT, the much-awaited game will take place at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benina, Libya.

Elki, 37, will have assistance from a group of fellow Tunisian officials, which also includes fourth official Mohamed Yousri Bouali and assistant referees Khalil Hassani and Aymen Ismail.

Waldabet Koissoual from Chad will act as the referee assessor, and Yacoub Ali Elmi from Djibouti will serve as the match commissioner. And the match's security officer is none other than Libya's Mohamed Gremida.

This encounter between the two teams will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, November 11, four days following their initial meeting.

Both teams need to win these two games, especially Ghana, who are trying to turn things around following a difficult showing in the first round.

The Black Stars are under pressure to produce after a dismal start in which they have only managed one point in their first two games.

Coventry manager praises 'hardworking' forward Brandon Thomas-Asante following Blackburn win.

After Brandon Thomas-Asante's performance against Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship, Coventry City manager Mark Robbins lauded the Ghanaian forward.

Ellis Simms took over for Thomas-Asante two minutes after he scored his team's third goal to seal the 3-0 victory at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

After the match, he declared, "I believed it was one of the better performances of a center forward at this club for a while."

"I thought he worked incredibly hard and performed pretty well; he was good both in and out of possession and successfully recovered the ball for us.

"There’s still improvement there certainly, but it’s a nice start for him.

"We have incredibly good strikers, and they're all different from one another, so they have to be ready to go,"

In the club's victory over Blackburn, Thomas-Asante, who transferred from West Bromwich Albion to Coventry City during the summer transfer window, scored his first goal in the Championship.
