Hearts of Oak's director of communications, Kwame Opare Addo, revealed that the team is content with its new location at the Legon Sports Stadium.

In an interview with Max FM, he stated that the team has not yet determined whether it will use the Accra Sports Stadium as its home venue until the current renovations are finished.

"Legon is a nice facility; happily, our first game there went well for us. We hope that the Legon Sports Stadium's promising beginnings will continue. Together, we shall endeavor to make it constant.

"Our current home is Legon Sports Stadium. Whether we will move back to the Accra Sports Stadium or not is another option for the club to make,” Kwame Opare Addo stated.

Due to renovations, the Accra Sports Stadium had to close in September, forcing Hearts of Oak to relocate to the Legon Sports Stadium.

As part of ongoing renovations, Accra Sports Stadium will host Sudan on October 11 for the opening leg of the Black Stars' doubleheader in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
