In the present Ghana Premier League, former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has urged the supporters to be patient with the squad.

After four games in the 2024–25 Premier League, the Porcupine Warriors have won two, drawn two, and lost none.

Kotoko is currently in second place with eight points, behind log leaders Medeama, who have just one point.

Notwithstanding the squad's winning streak, some club followers seem dissatisfied with the team's performance.

Nonetheless, Amos Frimpong urged the supporters to have patience with the squad in an interview with Kessben FM later published on Ghanasoccernet.com.

"There will be concerns if the squad does not perform as expected because great expectations were going into the new season. The team hasn't reached its zenith yet, but the quality is there. He remarked, "I know the technical staff is still working on the players, and I know we will get there."

On Sunday, Asante Kotoko and Accra Lions will square off in the Ghana Premier League's matchday five at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Yaw Preko, the coach of Nsoatreman, wants six points from back-to-back home games.

Goals for the Nsoatreman head coach Yaw Preko include winning as many points as possible from their next back-to-back home games, which begin on Sunday against Legon Cities.

Preko is keen to capitalize on home advantage after suffering two losses away.

"Our goal for home games this season is to score as many points as possible," Preko stated in a pregame interview.

He explained that Nsoatreman had no margin for error and underlined the importance of the next two games.

We must ensure that these two games, which we will be playing back-to-back, go well because we have played two away games without scoring.

Preko has motivated his team to concentrate on the task at hand and is going all out for the win.

He continued, "We have to make sure we take the maximum six points."

These home games offer Nsoatreman a vital chance to advance and gain momentum for the remainder of the season, as the team currently sits 16th in the standings.
