Midfielder Salim Adams received criticism from Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara for his performance against Aduana FC.

At the University of Ghana Stadium, the game concluded in a goalless draw despite Hearts using an additional man starting in the 57th minute following Rich Mensah of Aduana's dismissal.

Adams struggled after replacing attacker Asamoah Boateng in the 68th minute, making multiple pass errors and losing a crucial chance to score late in the game.

Ouattara expressed his unhappiness at Adams' apparent excessive pressure to perform well against Aduana during the post-match press conference.

He had performed in this function (striker) multiple times, but he was under too much pressure to do well. Salim appeared more worn out than the player he replaced, which surprised me as I had assumed that his substitution would have an impact on Aduana's defense, which was clearly fatigued.

Hearts of Oak missed several scoring opportunities during the game.

Hearts' head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is under more pressure after this draw because his club is now having trouble finding its form.

The Phobians are in a difficult situation as they attempt to turn things around in their next games, having only managed one victory in their previous five games.

Heart of Lions 0–Medeama 0: Week 5 Match Report

At the T & A Stadium on Saturday, Medeama SC maintained their winning streak against Heart of Lions with a goalless draw.

The host team wanted to maintain their perfect start to the year, while the Lions needed to win to get over their recent run of draws.

From the beginning, both teams applied pressure, but neither was able to break the tie. Lions registered fifteen efforts, three of which were on target, compared to Medeama's fourteen, five of which were on target.

Despite having 59% of the possession compared to 41% for the Lions, Medeama's strong defense prevented a stalemate in the game.

The stalemate kept Medeama atop the league, but second-place Kotoko's match on Sunday puts their position in jeopardy.

In an exciting match on Wednesday, Medeama will try to get back on track against Samartex, while the Lions will get ready for their upcoming matchup against Vision FC.
