Aboubakar Ouattara, the head coach of Hearts of Oak, expressed his dissatisfaction following his team's goalless draw with Aduana Stars on Friday night in their Week 5 Ghana Premier League match.
The red card of defender Rich Sackey reduced Aduana Stars to 10 men, but the Phobians were unable to make use of their numerical advantage and turn multiple opportunities into goals.
After the game, Ouattara publicly chastised his team for their lackluster performance.
"I've been warning them in training that we won't be having an easy game. They are not to assume that it will be. I'm genuinely disappointed. We do not play like this. Today, we didn't play well. Ouattara stated, "The guys put pressure on themselves because they believe everything in football is simple."
The Hearts of Oak coach stressed the significance of going forward despite his displeasure.
He urged his team to take note of their errors and concentrate on becoming better in preparation for their upcoming match against Young Apostles, which they want to win and go back on track.
