In addition to celebrating her personal milestones, Regina Daniels has also addressed recent controversies surrounding her comments on the #EndBadGovernance protests in Nigeria. Her initial remarks sparked a wave of criticism, with many labeling her as part of the " privileged few. " In a video, she expressed concern that the protests were escalating beyond their intended purpose, which drew ire from some Nigerians who felt her perspective was detached from the realities faced by ordinary citizens.

In response to the backlash, Regina urged her fellow citizens to prioritize peaceful protests over violence. She believes that recognizing the direction of the protests is vital for the collective good of the country.
