REAL MADRID legend Marcelo was left red-faced after being outskilled by his nine-year-old son.

The Brazilian was playing football on the street with his son when he suffered what many players consider a nightmare.

After passing the ball to nine-year-old Liam, Marcelo stepped in to make a tackle.

But as he moved, the youngster flicked the ball through his legs with an incredible skill.

Brazil icon Marcelo reacted by simply covering his face with his hand.

He then mimicked shining the youngster's shoes.

Fans were quick to comment on Instagram, with one person writing: "Little legend, big legend!"

Another said: "Ancelotti needs to sign that boy."

A third wrote: "He will become a great player like his father."

While a fourth simply commented: "Legendary."

Marcelo's other son, Enzo Alves, is also following in his dad's footsteps.

He recently signed a major contract extension with Real Madrid, keeping him at the club until 2027.

The 15-year-old was initially tied down until 2026 but earned a new deal following some incredible performances for the Los Blancos academy.

It is the longest contract length allowed for under-age players.

Marcelo spent 15 years at Real Madrid as a player and made 546 appearances.

During that time he won 25 major trophies - including five Champions League titles and six La Liga titles.

Why Endrick is starting to cause concern for some

Reports from Brazil say that the Real Madrid player is hardly getting any playing time as Dorival Júnior prefers Igor Jesus.

The “Endrick effect” in Brazil seems to be fading after his remarkable debut with the senior team, where he scored several goals in his early appearances. Despite this, coach Dorival Júnior does not seem to find the young Brazilian’s achievements, both domestically and now at Real Madrid, sufficient. At Real Madrid, Endrick has been making the most of the minutes given to him by Carlo Ancelotti. However, in Brazil’s recent match against Chile, held in Santiago, it was Igor Jesus who won the battle for playing time in the yellow shirt.

Before the South American Qualifiers match, Dorival Júnior made it clear in a press conference that he would be opting for the Botafogo striker over Endrick. The former Palmeiras player saw less than 15 minutesof action against Chile, coming on late in the match with the score tied. The comeback goal came in the 89th minute, but Igor Jesus had already scored the equaliser, justifying Dorival’s decision to start him instead of Endrick.
