A foot ailment experienced during warm-ups kept Tenadu from making his debut against Young Apostles, but he has fully recovered and is anticipated to play.
Coach Prosper Ogum's team, which is trying to retake the top spot in a fiercely competitive competition, will benefit from his comeback.
"I hope it doesn't come to that because if it does, it means our football has a terrible future," he continued.
With kickoff set for 13:00 GMT, Ghana will play Sudan in the reverse leg later today at the Martyrs of February Stadium.
