Aboubakar Ouattara, the head coach of Hearts of Oak, believes that a point versus Dreams FC is preferable to a loss.

On Sunday, the Still Believe boys hosted the Phobians in the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League Matchday seven games at the Tuba AstroTurf.

Hamzah Issah of Hearts of Oak had the game's opening opportunity in a thrilling, nonstop, end-to-end match, launching a strong shot that just missed the mark.

Ouattara responded to the tie with Dreams FC by saying he thought his team did well by earning a point instead of losing.

"We didn't play poorly in the first half, but regrettably, we lost possession a few times. We failed to generate enough scoring opportunities in the second half. It's 50/50 that I am both happy and unhappy. In a post-match interview, he stated, "It's better to take one point than none at all."

In matchweek eight, Hearts of Oak will host the Bibiani Gold Stars at the Legon Sports Stadium. Ouattara has urged supporters to show up and cheer on the team before the match.

Since the fans are what propel our performance, we depend on them. We are improving and scoring goals one game at a time.

In the league standings, Hearts of Oak are presently in tenth place with nine points.

Under Patrice Motsepe and Kurt Okraku, CAF has made progress.

Kurt Okraku, the president of WAFU B, has publicly supported Dr. Patrice Motsepe for a second term as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) president, lauding his effective leadership since assuming the role.

At a meeting with the WAFU B Zonal Union in Addis Ababa, Okraku conveyed his appreciation for the progress in Motsepe's leadership, especially in the areas of financial investment and football growth throughout the continent.

"We express our gratitude to President Motsepe for the tremendous amount of work he has done since assuming the role of CAF President. We have witnessed the advancement of his vision," Okraku said.

He emphasized how Motsepe's leadership has benefited Member Associations (MAs), especially in obtaining critically needed finance. "As Presidents of MA, we know how painful it is to find even USD 1. Under President Roosevelt's direction, funding has grown. There are football development activities taking place in our country. And it's no accident," he continued.

"We applaud President Motsepe for his travels to Heads of State in Africa â€" and engage them," Okraku added, acknowledging Motsepe's diplomatic efforts to engage African Heads of State to advance football on the continent.

Motsepe's first term as CAF President, which began in 2021, will come to an end in 2025 with elections for the next CAF leadership.
