Frederick Asare, the captain of Asante Kotoko, has praised his colleagues' undefeated start to the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors have four wins, two ties, and one standout game, putting them in a commanding second spot on the league table with 14 points after six games.

Asare has commended his teammates for their efforts in light of their great run, but he has also urged them to maintain concentration as they strive for the larger goal.

He addressed the club's reporters, "We are all satisfied with our growth and the quality we have shown in our games."

"This is what the team deserves, and we will all keep working hard to reach the larger goals, but for the time being, we simply need to stay focused and play each other game after game.

"But I am impressed with the boys' attitude," he continued.

Asante Kotoko's next games are a rescheduled encounter against Legon Cities on Wednesday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium and a play against Basake Holy Stars on Matchday 8 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium.

Antoine Semenyo, a forward for Ghana, was selected as the Player of the Month for Bournemouth.

Following an outstanding month for the Ghanaian forward, Antoine Semenyo has earned the title of Bournemouth's Player of the Month for September.

On Wednesday, the club's supporters congratulated him and sent their best wishes as he accepted the trophy, celebrating his unwavering perseverance and attacking attempts.

Semenyo was incredibly consistent throughout the month, playing every game and finishing off a strong showing with a fantastic goal against Southampton.

The 24-year-old London native hasn't missed a game this season, and as his reputation grows in the Premier League, elite teams like Arsenal are showing more interest in him because of his steady performances.

He has made nine appearances for Bournemouth so far this season, contributing three goals and one assist. He is only five goals short of matching his stellar season-ending total, which was noteworthy enough to secure him a five-year contract extension.

Transfermarkt estimates Semenyo's current value at around 20 million euros, with other elite teams keeping a close eye on his development. Semenyo joined the team from Bristol City for slightly over 10 million euros.
