Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, has promised that as the season goes on, his team's chance of conversion will increase.

The Porcupine Warriors have only scored six goals in their first six games of the season despite having been producing decent chances and struggling with finishing.

After their victory over Samartex, Ogum remarked, "If you compare the shots on target, I think there were more in terms of goal scoring tonight than in prior games."

"They will eventually find the back of the net now that the shots are hitting the target and the goalkeepers are making saves." It is a slow process.

We might have been setting up opportunities at the start, but they weren't even reaching the target. They're hitting the mark, and we're creating now. Therefore, there is little doubt that the support will increase confidence.

With 14 points, the Porcupine Warriors are in second place in the league, one game behind the GoldStars, who have yet to lose this season.

Kenneth Sarpong, a former Ghanaian midfielder, wants Andre Ayew to rejoin the Black Stars.

In light of Andre Ayew's recent troubles, former Ghanaian international Kenneth Sarpong has asked for his participation in the Black Stars.

Under coach Otto Addo, Ayew, who just joined the French Ligue 1 team Le Havre, has missed three straight games for the Black Stars.

Following consecutive exclusions from the team for the AFCON qualifiers, the former West Ham United and Swansea player was left out of the squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June.

In the doubleheader versus Sudan, Ghana, the four-time AFCON champions, only managed a point after a 2-0 loss at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libya and a 0-0 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.

For the first time since 2004, the Black Stars are in danger of missing out on the CAF's premier event as a result of the outcome.

Additionally, in an interview with Kessben FM that Ghanasoccernet.com obtained, the former Hearts of Oak midfielder spoke in favor of the seasoned attacker rejoining the squad.
