After Hearts of Oak's sluggish start to the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season, captain Benjamin Asare has asked the team's supporters to exercise patience.

Although the Phobians can't win every game, the seasoned goalie expressed optimism about their prospects moving forward.

With nine points and two victories from their first seven league games, the Phobians are six points from the top of the league standings.

"What I have to advise the fans is to be patient with the team," Asare told reporters following Hearts of Oak's goalless draw with Dreams FC on Sunday. We are not able to win every game. They can anticipate more triumphs from us.

"You can see that we have improved if you watch the games we have played. Football is another sport where things don't always go your way.

In the eighth week of play, Hearts of Oak will meet the Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
