Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, has maintained that his club must win the Ghana Premier League by earning as many points as possible from their home games.

For any club to win the league, he underlined, they must win their home games.

With just three away victories to complete their first championship, FC Samartex won 16 of their 17 home games to win the league last season.

"If we wish to win the league, we must accumulate as many points as possible at home. Trying to get as many points at home as possible is one of the main goals of the Ghana Premier League, Ogum stated following their match against Samartex.

"I believe that winning consecutive games at home should instill confidence in the players.

"They have the support of their supporters." We are certain that we have the support of our fans. They will show up in large numbers to help us.

With 14 points, the Porcupine Warriors are in second place in the league, one game behind the GoldStars, who have yet to lose this season.
