As they are ready to host Asante Kotoko, who are playing well and aiming for the league's top spot, Basake Holy Stars will have a difficult task.

While Holy Stars, who are renowned for their ability to kill giants, hope to break Kotoko's winning streak, a victory for the Porcupine Warriors would represent their fourth straight triumph and maybe move them to first place.

After their season-opening victory over Hearts of Oak, Holy Stars have battled for consistency. They have only managed one more victory after six games, a close triumph over Karela United.

They will be keen to bounce back and defeat Kotoko at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium in Ayinase on Sunday after suffering a 2-0 loss to Nsoatreman.

Kotoko has a strong record going into the weekend, having won three in a row while keeping a clean sheet. They are overwhelming favorites because of their momentum and formidable defense, which has allowed just two goals in six games.

Kotoko averages one goal per game, which puts Holy Stars, who have only had two clean sheets in seven games, in danger.

Since this would be the two teams' first league encounter, Kotoko is favored to win because of their recent success and strong team dynamic.

Dreams FC coach Karim Zito takes criticism in light of the team's concerning GPL performance.

Despite Dreams FC's poor start to the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season, head coach Abdul Karim Zito is upbeat and receptive to criticism.

Dreams FC is in the relegation zone after three losses and four draws in seven games, and they are still looking for their first victory.

Coach Zito is open to criticism and is committed to raising his team's performance despite the failures. During this difficult time, he has urged supporters to encourage rather than put pressure on his young players

"Critics are free to express their opinions. I don't mind that because we know where we're coming from, so when we start performing well, they'll say the team is doing well, too. They still need to wait for us. It won't work to put pressure on the younger ones," Coach Zito said.

Coach Karim Zito and his team are preparing for a crucial game against Young Apostles on Sunday, October 27, in Week 8, with the goal of changing the momentum.

They're hoping that this game will be a game-changer for them.
