Matchday 11 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League concluded with intriguing outcomes across the venues.


Saturday Matches:


At Nana Kronmansah Park, Nsoatreman FC and Aduana FC played out a 1-1 draw. Morrison Anokye gave the hosts the lead in the first half, but Abdel Bamba equalized for Aduana FC.



Meanwhile, Accra Lions and Heart of Lions settled for a goalless draw at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium as well.


Sunday Action:


Asante Kotoko’s struggles continued as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Nations FC, marking their fourth consecutive loss. At Abrankese, Nafiu Sulemana capitalized on a goalkeeper’s error to score the opener, and Faisal Charwetey added a second to secure the win for Nations FC.


At the Aliu Mahama Stadium, Hearts of Oak edged past Karela United 1-0, courtesy of Hamza Issah’s first-half strike.


Medeama SC bounced back from back-to-back losses, handing Bibiani GoldStars their first defeat of the season with a 2-0 win at TNA Park. Derrick Fordjour opened the scoring, and Kelvin Nkrumah sealed the win with a late goal.


In the Bono derby at Golden City Park, Bechem United secured a 2-1 win over Berekum Chelsea. Boat-At Regain’s brace, including a late winner, overshadowed Stephen Amankona’s equalizer for Chelsea.


Dreams FC claimed a narrow 1-0 away victory against Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex. Abdul Razak Salifu’s 82nd-minute goal was the decider.


At the Nsenkyire Sports Complex, Premier League newcomers Young Apostles stunned FC Samartex 1-0, with Samuel Prempeh scoring the only goal in the 48th minute.


Legon Cities FC moved out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. Prince Opoku gave the visitors an early lead from the penalty spot, but Frank Akoto and Kojo Gyasi turned the game around for Cities.


League Standings:


Nations FC, Bibiani GoldStars, Hearts of Oak, and Medeama SC occupy the top four spots. Meanwhile, Legon Cities, Accra Lions, and Karela United find themselves in the relegation zone after Matchday 11.


The Ghana Premier League continues to deliver excitement, with the battle for the top spots and survival heating up.
