Security analyst, Adib Saani, has raised several critical questions regarding the events surrounding the alleged kidnapping of Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager of Emirates Airlines, and her subsequent rescue from her abductors. Sylvia Patience Baah was reported missing by the Ghana Police Service after allegedly being abducted from the entrance of her residence in Accra on Thursday, Novem ber 21, 2024. She was later reportedly rescued by the police, who assured the public that they are actively searching for the suspects responsible for the crime and are committed to apprehending them. Reacting to the updates surrounding the case, Adib Saani has questioned the motives of both the police and the victim, as well as the veracity of the matter, based on the accounts provided by both parties following her rescue.

In a Facebook post on Monday, November 25, 2024, titled "Was Sylvia Baah's Kidnapping Staged?' the security noted that there are inconsistencies in the various accounts provided so far, which have raised more questions than answers, calling for the Emirates Airlines staff to be investigated. "The story of Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager for Emirates Airlines in Accra, has gripped the nation with its shocking details of abduction, alleged threats, and supposed release. However, as the dust begins to settle, glaring inconsistencies and unanswered questions have emerged, raising suspicions of a possible staged kidnapping" parts of his post read. Among other things, Saani questioned the police's motive behind their claim of rescuing the victim, noting that reports indicated she had appeared before her family.

He further expressed doubts about whether a rescue operation was ever carried out. Saani has, therefore, urged the police to investigate the claims made by the Emirates manager in order to address any inconsistencies iin the case and to ensure that justice is served. "Sylvia's claims must be rigorously investigated, and all inconsistencies must be addressed. The Ghana Police Service, which has faced embarrassment over its premature rescue announcement, must dig deeper to uncover the truth. If this was a staged event, those responsible must be held accountable to deter future fabrications. "The public deserves transparency and honesty. Sylvia Baah owes Ghana a full and truthful account of what transpired during those critical hours. Until then, the specter of a staged kidnapping will continue to loom over this perplexing case," he added.
