Bukom Banku Responds to Nana Agradaa’s 2024 Election Prophecy
Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko, widely known as Bukom Banku, has reacted strongly to Nana Agradaa's recent prophecy regarding the 2024 General Elections. Agradaa, now going by the name Evangelist Mama Pat, sparked controversy when she claimed in a live video that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana and member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), would win the upcoming elections.
Agradaa, who revealed that she hails from an NDC background, stated that God had shown her in a vision that Dr. Bawumia would secure victory in 2024. Her declaration raised eyebrows, particularly among NDC supporters, who found her comments to be provocative and politically charged.
In an even more controversial statement, Agradaa later doubled down on her prophecy, boldly asserting that she would abandon her Christian faith and return to worshipping her traditional gods if her prediction did not come to pass. This statement further fueled the anger of NDC loyalists, including Bukom Banku, a well-known member of the party.
Bukom Banku did not hold back in his response to Agradaa’s comments. In an emotional outburst, he used harsh and unprintable words to lash out at the former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist. As a staunch NDC supporter, the boxer expressed his disdain for Agradaa's prophecy, which he felt was not only politically motivated but also disrespectful to the party and its supporters.
His outburst has sparked a wider conversation about the intersection of politics, religion, and public figures making bold statements that can influence public sentiment. Bukom Banku’s response is seen as a reflection of the tension and rivalry between the NPP and NDC, especially as the 2024 elections draw nearer.
Agradaa’s prophecy and the subsequent reaction from Bukom Banku have amplified the already heated political climate in Ghana. With the elections less than a year away, such declarations are likely to continue making headlines, further intensifying political discourse across the nation.
