Kwame Opoku, a forward for Asante Kotoko, believes leaving the team was a difficult choice after rejoining.
The former Nkronsah Warriors striker, who left the team in 2021 after a stellar season, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract to return.
Opoku played a crucial role for Kotoko before leaving to join USM Alger, a team based in Algeria.
In an interview with the club's media, Opoku talked about the emotional agony he went through the night before he left.
The 25-year-old striker had a big impact before moving to Algeria, scoring nine goals and becoming an important member of the club.
Despite his outstanding performances, he left Kotoko without obtaining any silverware, something he is determined to change when he returns.
