A devastating accident on the Cape Coast–Accra Highway near the Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School Junction has claimed the lives of three people and left several others injured. The Yutong bus, which was traveling from Takoradi to Accra with 53 passengers on board, veered off the road and overturned. Witnesses at the scene reported that the bus was speeding and appeared to lose control before flipping over. Emergency responders, including personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service, the police, and ambulance services, arrived promptly to rescue the victims. Rescuers worked tirelessly to pull passengers out from under the bus, using specialized equipment to ensure no one was left behind.
