Popular content creator Kemi Ikuseedun, widely known as Mummy Wa or Kemzmama, has shared her approach to balancing life and working with intentionality as she steps into 2025.
In a recent interview with Saturday Beats, she explained what she’s been focusing on in the new year: “I’ve taken some time to work on specific stories and projects I want to explore. I’m dedicating this time to research and developing characters I plan to work on,” she revealed.
Reflecting on her successes in 2024, Mummy Wa expressed gratitude for the positive reception of her debut film, My Sunshine. "I’m so happy it reached one million views. Any good work will naturally come with criticism, but I'm just glad that people took the time to watch it,” she shared.
When asked how she manages to avoid pressure in the new year, Ikuseedun said, "I’m not rushing into anything. I’m taking my time to avoid feeling the pressure that often comes with a new year. I try not to let external influences get to me. I focus on pacing myself, without procrastination."
Although she isn't actively anticipating challenges, she expressed confidence in her ability to face them. "What are challenges if we can't overcome them? If we can’t overcome them, they become failures,” she concluded.
