Old Photos Of Kufour And Afenyo Markin Surfaces Online

The image appears to date back to Kufuor’s presidency, with Afenyo-Markin, now the Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for the Effutu constituency, looking noticeably younger than he does today.

John Agyekum Kufuor served as Ghana’s President from 2001 to 2009 as a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). His leadership focused on economic growth, healthcare, and education. Notably, his administration introduced the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and the School Feeding Program to improve the well-being of Ghanaians. Before his presidency, Kufuor had an extensive career in law and politics.
Alexander Afenyo-Markin, on the other hand, is a seasoned politician and lawyer. He currently represents the Effutu constituency in Parliament and holds the position of Minority Leader.
