Chelsea will face Manchester City in an all-English quarter-final in the Women’s Champions League while defending champions Barcelona have been drawn against Wolfsburg in a rematch of the 2023 final.
Chelsea, the leaders of the Women’s Super League, edged City to the English title on goal difference last season and are aiming for a sixth consecutive top-flight championship.
Barcelona, who staged a remarkable comeback from two goals down to defeat Wolfsburg in the final two years ago, are pursuing their fourth European title in five seasons.
Arsenal, the 2007 champions, will meet Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, while last season’s runners-up, Lyon, will take on Bayern Munich.
Lyon, the record eight-time champions, was one of only two teams, alongside Chelsea, to finish the group stage with a perfect record.
The first legs of the quarter-finals will be played on March 18-19, with the return matches scheduled for the following week.
The winners of the Chelsea-Manchester City tie will face either Barcelona or Wolfsburg in the semi-finals in April.
This season’s final is set to take place at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon on May 24.
