Dr. Rashid Tanko Computer Assumes Role as Acting CEO of GIFEC
The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) has officially welcomed Dr. Sofo Tanko Rashid Computer as its Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His appointment was formalized on Friday, February 14, 2025, during a brief ceremony at the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation in Accra. The event was attended by the sector Minister, Sam Nartey George, who officially introduced Dr. Computer to the role. With this new leadership, GIFEC aims to further its mandate of expanding electronic communications infrastructure, particularly in regions that have limited or no access to these essential services. Dr. Computer, known for his expertise in the field of information technology and digital inclusion, expressed his commitment to advancing the agency’s mission.
