Baba Yara Stadium currently has power again after the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) disconnected it due to an unpaid debt of GH¢140,000.
Sporty FM reports that the reconnection comes after talks between ECG officials and the Minister of Youth and Sports, which resulted in a revised payment schedule.
According to earlier reports, after repeated reminders, ECG had turned off the stadium's energy supply since the outstanding balance was unpaid.
The management of Ghana's biggest stadium, which has already been subject to FIFA and Confederation of African Football (CAF) regulations, was the subject of scrutiny.
