The Ghana Premier League is set to make a return this weekend, after the sudden demise of a Francis Nana Yaw Frimpong l, a loyal fan of the porcupine warriors. The matches are slated to begin from the Saturday the 8th of March through to Monday the 10th of March. This would be match day 23, before the outstanding fixtures would be played between the weeks, mostly midweek matches. The communication about both Hearts of oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko losing their home venues has proven to be nothing but a loss communique as they would play at the Legon stadium and Baba Yara Sports Stadium respectively. The Takoradi Technical University Hospital has opened an Eye Clinic as a new subsidiary to provide specialized services for people with vision challenges. The Eye Clinic is expected to assist students and staff with eye-related issues right on the University campus in addition to the already numerous healthcare services provided by the hospital.
Speaking at the opening of the Eye Clinic, the Vice Chancellor of TTU, Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun, while expressing appreciation to the Director of Works and the Medical Director of the University Hospital for their role in establishing the eye clinic.
