Pastor Brian Amoateng, the Convener of the International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES), has urged young people, especially Gen Z, to develop the habit of making time for important activities if they want to achieve success. In an interview on Joy Prime’s *Changes* show, he emphasized that time management is a critical skill for personal growth and success. He pointed out that everyone has the same 24 hours each day, but the difference between success and failure lies in how individuals allocate their time. As a family man and leader with multiple responsibilities, he shared that he intentionally creates balance in his life to ensure he does not focus too much on either his ministry or his family. According to him, proper planning is the key to ensuring that one maximizes each day productively. He urged young people to be deliberate about how they spend their time so they can reach their full potential before the age of 60.

To help the youth apply this principle effectively, Pastor Amoateng has incorporated time management as a major topic in the 2025 edition of the IYES Summit. The event, which will take place from March 12 to March 14 at the UPSA Auditorium in Madina, will feature both morning and evening sessions. Morning sessions are scheduled to start at 9 a.m., while evening sessions will begin at 5 p.m. The program will end with a national youth all-night service on the final day. The summit aims to equip young people with practical strategies for managing their time efficiently so they can achieve their dreams. Pastor Amoateng believes that understanding the value of time at an early age will help the youth stay focused and make meaningful progress in their personal and professional lives. He has designed the summit to provide insights into effective planning, balance, and self-discipline—qualities he believes are essential for long-term success.

The IYES Summit will host several renowned speakers, including Nigerian gospel minister and televangelist Apostle Joshua Selman, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye of Makers House Chapel International, and Dr. Frank Ofosu-Appiah, among other influential ministers of God. These speakers will share their experiences and offer guidance on how young people can navigate their spiritual and professional journeys while maintaining a balanced life. Pastor Amoateng believes that such mentorship is crucial in shaping the mindset of the youth, helping them make better life choices. The event promises to be a transformative experience, encouraging attendees to take charge of their time and pursue their ambitions with discipline and purpose. Ultimately, Pastor Amoateng hopes that by instilling the habit of time management, young people will be better positioned to create a fulfilling future for themselves and positively impact their communities.
