Following the impending hiring of Maxwell Konadu as the club's new head coach, Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara is expected to be promoted to the position of technical director at the Ghanaian powerhouse, according to an exclusive report from GHANAsoccernet.com.

At the end of the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season, the Ivorian strategist who has been leading the team will step away to allow Konadu to take over. On Sunday, June 8, 2025, when the season concludes, Ouattara is anticipated to formally assume his new strategic role.

According to GHANAsoccernet.com, Hearts of Oak and Maxwell Konadu have struck a preliminary agreement for Hearts to succeed the Ivorian coach. The club's management is committed to completing the transaction as soon as possible and preventing any delays before the planned technical reorganization.

With a good possibility of finishing in the top four on the last matchday, Ouattara has led the Accra-based team to fifth place in the current rankings. The club is now trying to bring fresh enthusiasm and expertise to the dugout as they strive to restore their position at the top of Ghanaian football, even though their tenure has brought stability.

Pressure is growing to put an end to Hearts' league title drought, which dates back to 2021. Club officials believe Maxwell Konadu is the best person to spearhead a comeback. Konadu provides both experience and insight to the position with his broad coaching background, which includes positions with Ghana's U-23 squad, multiple stints as the Black Stars' assistant coach, and local success with Nsoatreman FC, whom he guided to an FA Cup victory.

A strategic reorganization is also evident in the transfer, as Ouattara's new role as Technical Director gives him the ability to supervise the team's long-term technical planning, youth development, and overall football philosophy.

Amidst four senior departures, Arsenal announces contract negotiations with Thomas Partey.

As the team gets ready for a significant reorganization before the 2025–2026 season, Arsenal has formally declared that talks are still going on with Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey regarding a new deal.

With Partey's current contract expiring on June 30, there is a lot of conjecture around his future in North London.

The 31-year-old, whose performances last season were among his most reliable since signing from Atletico Madrid in 2020, is reportedly in talks with Arsenal, the club revealed after the release of their retained list.

With 52 games across all competitions, the midfielder had an exceptional season and by far his most in an Arsenal shirt.

He played a crucial part in Mikel Arteta's midfield formation during their run for domestic and European trophies, with four goals and three assists.

Directly addressing Partey's situation, Arsenal posted the following statement on their official website:

The contracts of the players listed below also expire on June 30, 2025. Talks are still going on, and we will let you know when everything is agreed upon by all sides. Michal Rosiak, Thomas Partey, and Chloe Kelly.

The Gunners have announced that several senior squad members will be leaving, even though negotiations are still ongoing with a few players.

As the club restructures its roster, prominent players like Raheem Sterling, Kieran Tierney, Neto, and Jorginho—figures who have played a variety of roles in recent seasons—are among those leaving.

With manager Mikel Arteta hoping to strengthen his team for a better UEFA Champions League campaign and another Premier League title fight, the summer is anticipated to be a crucial time for Arsenal. The future of Partey and important reinforcements will be at the heart of those plans.
