The President of The Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Akufo-Addo has prompted Ghanaians to celebrate this year’s Christmas responsibly.
In a Christmas message conveyed on Friday, the President said he is cheerful that the celebrations would come to an end without any road mischances.
“Let us all celebrate the season securely and responsibly, and keep up the peace of the nation. It is my intense trust that this Christmas will be celebrated without any road mishaps.”
The President subsequently encouraged drivers to handle their trade with due regard to road activity controls, “Drivers must minimize their speed, take due safety measure for other road clients, drive without the impact of alcohol, and wear their situate(seat) belts, as must all travelers.”
The President moreover called on Christians to, “within the title of Christian charity, keep in mind to assist those who are less blessed in this merry season.”
“Cheerful Christmas, and a Cheerful Unused Year,” he concluded.
