Liverpool are said to have made a'massive' salary offer to a Barcelona player and to have agreed personal terms with Jude Bellingham.
'Premier League investigation' demanded
It's been a strange few weeks for tribalism to get the better of otherwise rational people, with some Arsenal fans claiming that Liverpool fabricated Covid test results before losing in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Following Liverpool's 3-1 victory at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, some Crystal Palace fans are alleging a conspiracy against their team.
"CPFC should request a Premier League investigation into that Liverpool game," one fan, Hollywood actor Jim Piddock, tweeted. "This is the worst VAR/referee decision I've ever seen." Either VAR is ineffective and should be phased out, or there was collusion to keep the title race close."
The decision he was referring to is believed to be the penalty awarded to Diogo Jota, which Kevin Friend ruled was a foul.
Because Roberto Firmino attempted to play the ball from an offside position, Crystal Palace would have a stronger case for the Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain goal.
Of course, Liverpool could have been three or four goals up and out of sight after the first 40 minutes, only for Crystal Palace to claw their way back into the match in the second half,

Bellingham 'agrees' to relocate
According to German Football Insider, Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham has 'agreed' personal terms with Liverpool (via LFC Transfer Room).
If this claim is true, Liverpool would still have to agree on a transfer fee for the player, which would almost certainly be a record figure, with the 18-year-old midfielder having moved to Germany for £25 million 18 months ago.
Jürgen Klopp usually brings in a new midfielder in the summer to lower the average age and freshen things up, but it appears that Liverpool will sign a cheaper replacement for Bellingham rather than spend big money on the teenager.
Ronald Arajo desired
Barcelona's financial situation is well-documented at this point, but the Spanish club is reportedly asking Uruguayan centre-back Ronald Arajo, 22, to lower his wage demands if he is to stay.
According to Catalan media outlet ElNacional, Arajo, who is valued at £31 million by Transfermarkt, wants a'massive' salary to stay at Camp Nou, claiming he is currently earning less than £10,000 per week.
Arajo is an important player for Xavi and would therefore demand a salary to match, but Barcelona are not always in a position to do so.
Given that, it is claimed that Liverpool and Klopp have contacted Arajo and made him an offer that he allegedly cannot refuse.
Liverpool, on the other hand, do not require another central defender — unless Joe Gomez leaves, they are well stocked in that position for the foreseeable future.
